I started with the basic A2 card base, 5 1/2 by 4 1/4. I cut a panel using my Anna Griffin Empress electric die cut machine. I used Cube Cover die with vellum. I ink blended with a large blending brush with a turquoise ink first the whole panel then went back with toffee crunch momento around the edges and corners. I then adhered the vellum to the card base. I used destress spray in the shade of antique photo and did some ink splashes. I set this aside to dry while I stamped my flower. Thats where the fun gets really creative!

Look at how even the flower was cut out!!!!!! Keep reading and I will get to the best tip I have learned recently. I followed the guide and stamped the flower in the 4 steps with light to dark ink as suggest by the included guide. The leaves and stem was stamped the same way. As i was stamping I thought this looks blotchy and not much detail. I kept telling myself " just trust the process" so I kept going and it turned out just stunning. Altenew's ink dry and smooth out real nice! (say that in the best southern accent you can do!) lol I stamped my sentiment with versafine clear and used copper embossing paste and heated with my heat tool. I fussy cut the sentiment and used foam squares by scrapebook.com. So here is how i die cut the flower perfectly. I took the die for the flower and die cut it 3 times. I did this to be abke tio stack the flowers to make it thicker to give it dimension. I took the negative space of one of the die cuts and placed it on top of my stamped flower and eye balled to make sure there was a even amount of space around the whole image, secured with tap. I then fit the die in the negative space and run it through my die cut machine. Comes out perfect almost everytime! I will always from now on do this extra step! I popped it up with foam tape and adhered to the card. I added some embellishing gems from my stash! I love this card.
