How can August be hals way over? Lordy Days time flies! here is another class submission for the Atenew Educator Certification Program. This topic for the class is masculine cards.
I get on the struggle bus a lot racking my head to come up with cards for men. I make a card and then feel like it needs a bow or some sparkle. Although my 2 men in my life, my husband and son, would love any card I make them. When you've been asked to make a card for someone else's guy I admit it can be challenging. I came up with this card using Altnew's Arched Foliage. I used greens, yellows and copper!
The basic card base A2, 5.5 and 4.25. I stamped the main image with momento toffee crunch and used the coordinating stencils and shaded the leaves with mountain pine, tranquil teal (gina k), grass field, fresh lemon
I used vera mark and stamped the image so blessed and sprinkled copper embossing powder and heat set it. I then die cut the so blessed image out withe the coordinating dies. i wanted it to be simple so I trimmed the so off and ended up with "Blessed".
I used toffee crunch and shaded the 3rd stencil for the background. I then splattered Distressed stain all over the focal image and adhered to my card base. The inside was stamped with "to have you in ky life" from a set from my stash. I love this card and it looks very masculine!
