These beautiful cards were made using the Grand Poinsettia embossing folder, die and coloring stencils. This was a colab with Gina K designs and Simon Says Stamp. Unfortunately these are not available for purchase. You can view that free class on SSS youtube channel. Here is the link.
These were fun to create and easy to do multiples
I used Gina K Designs new ink colors light, medium and dark cranberry. The green color was her medium spruce. The embossing folder came with the grand poinsettia die that cut out the flower. The trick here is to cut the flower out, use the stencils to shade the poinsettia then emboss it. I used the stencil by shading outside in. That means I started with the outside petals then worked my eay to the center. I embellished the center with either glue and glitter or gold sequins.

Here is another Gina K Designs product. In the cardmaking industry there are trends. This I think is a trend. The trend is embossing folders with die cuts or die with coloring stencils. I love this trend and I hope it stays. these make for some gorgeous cards that look better than professional. Who doesn't like a handmade card?
I again used her new cranberry ink colors. I used some printed paper from Lawn Fawn called all that sparkles to cut out the ornament. the ornament hanger was from gold cardstock i had in my stash. I embossed my panel using the embossing folder and took my ink pad directly to the paper and shaded the background. I used gold cord and ribbon purchased from SSS. The sentiment is a new technique for me. I used Gina K Designs poly glaze sheets, gold foil sheets and the fuse machine. Check out Gina's youtube she has lots of videos that she demos this technique. I popped uo the ornament with foam tape. Leave me a comment on which cards is your favorite. Below are the other cards I made using rub ons from Scrapbook.com!
