Simple Boutique Cards

Look at this sweet little stamp set called Floral Essence by Altenew. Below is a picture of it in my hand. This small stamp set makes a beautiful card that stands out BIG! You will never guess how much I paid for this stamp set. $3.50 yep you read that right three dollars and 50 cents. I used a half a sheet of neenah solar white 110 pound. You will want to use a good sturdy. This is my choice when doing simple stamping and no card panels. I stamped the images in the lower corner using Altenew inks: Wisteria, Andromeda, Grass field, Mountain Pine.

The techniques I used was to stamp the images in the lighter color then used Altenews micro blending brushes and dabbed on the darkest color on the outside edges of the stamp using my misty stamp positioner. This gave the stamps some dimension. I stamped the Sentiment, Just a note also from Altenew Arched Foliage. I added some sequins from Simon Says Stamp in Lilac.

The finishing touch: I used a micro black pen by The paper Studio in size .5 and hand drew the leaves and flowers very sloppy. This gave it a water color vibe. I loved how this turned out. Check out Altenews on sale items you can create so relaay cute cards with these simple stamps.
